Hello! My name is Sophia Arroyo and I am so excited to be the College & Career Coordinator at Fernando R. Ledesma! I am a Proud First-Generation College Graduate!

I grew up in the City of Pico Rivera where I attended El Rancho High School. After high school I attended Whittier College where I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work and Spanish, I then continued my academic journey to Loyola Marymount University where I received my Master’s in Counseling also earning my Pupil Service Credential, Child Welfare and Attendance Credential and my Preliminary License for Clinical Counseling. 

During my free time I am either spending time with family, at an amusement park or the beach with my friends, reading new books, or outside with my four dogs! My passion has been to help students succeed post high school and help them find a path that fits their goals and I hope to continue doing so here at Fernando R. Ledesma!
